This Privacy Policy explains how Riviera Go! collects and uses your personal data when you visit www.riviera-go.com, buy one of our digital guides or contact us. We act as the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

When you browse our website: technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and time of visit. Our website platform (Wix) collects this automatically.

When you buy a digital guide: your name, email address, billing address, the product bought, price and date of purchase. Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

When you contact us: your name, email address and the content of your message.

When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address and your consent.
We do not collect sensitive data (such as health data) and we do not create user accounts with passwords.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling that have legal effects on you.
4. Who receives your data
Stripe may also share payment data with Wix, because our shop uses Stripe through the Wix platform.
We may disclose data to public authorities if the law requires it.
Affiliate links: Some links on our website lead to partners such as Booking.com, Viator or GetYourGuide. If you click such a link, the partner may set its own cookies on its own website to record that you came from us. We do not receive your name or contact details from these partners. Their own privacy policies apply.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some of our providers process data outside the European Union:

Israel (Wix): the European Commission has recognised Israel as offering an adequate level of data protection.

USA (Stripe, Google): transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data
After these periods, we delete or anonymise your data.
7. Cookies and embedded content
Essential cookies are needed for the website and shop to work (for example security, session and payment cookies set by Wix). They do not need your consent.
Non-essential cookies (for example statistics or embedded YouTube videos) are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link at the bottom of each page.
Embedded YouTube videos: our pages show videos from our YouTube channel. When you play one, YouTube (Google) may collect data such as your IP address and set cookies. See Google's privacy policy for details.

9. Security, children and changes
Security: we and our providers use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and payment processing that meets the PCI-DSS card security standard.
Children: our website is not aimed at children under 15. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes: we may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
